About Utilnaro

Utilnaro is a set of small utilities that open instantly, do one job each, and then get out of the way.

The problem we started from

Search for a JSON formatter or a HEIC converter and you will find dozens of sites. Most of them make you sit through a loading screen, wrap the tool in columns of unrelated links, push a desktop app you do not want, or hide the one option you came for behind a sign-up. The tool itself is usually a small piece of work. Almost everything else on the page is in the way of it.

What we do instead

One tool per page, and the tool is the first thing on it — no scrolling past an essay to reach the input box. Pages are prerendered and small, so they open on a slow connection and on an old phone. Nothing to install, nothing to configure, no account. Most tools run in the browser, which is also why they feel instant: there is no round trip to wait for. Each tool page also states whether it runs on your device or on our server, and the privacy policy has the detail.

✓

Small on purpose

Staying light is a build rule here, not good intentions. Every page is prerendered HTML, each tool loads only its own code, and the build fails outright if a tool starts pulling in modules it has no business loading. That is why a tool page opens in well under a second and keeps working on hardware that struggles with heavier sites.

∅

No accounts, no sign-up wall

There is nothing to register for. We do not ask for an email address, we do not build a profile, and no tool is held back behind a login. If a tool is on the site, you can use it right now.

How this is paid for

Running a site costs money, so we would rather say plainly how it is covered than pretend the question does not exist. It is covered by advertising, through Google AdSense, and the privacy policy sets out what that means for your data. Where consent is required nothing loads until you have chosen. We will not fund the site by selling what you type into it — that is the one option the whole design rules out.

A文

Languages

A tool is only useful if its labels are in a language you read comfortably. We translate the interface, the tool descriptions and the help text — not just the buttons — and a language only goes live once its translation is complete. Partial translations stay unpublished rather than leaking English into a page that promised otherwise.

Corrections welcome

If a tool produces a wrong result, a translation reads badly, or something on this site claims more than it delivers, tell us. A claim nobody can check is worth nothing, and that includes ours.
