About this tool
Paste C# code and format classes, records, methods, expressions, LINQ queries and modern language constructs with a CSharpier-compatible engine backed by Roslyn. Configure line width, indentation and tabs.
C# requires more than bracket indentation: directives, attributes, pattern matching, interpolated strings and contextual keywords all need the real grammar. The formatter therefore loads a .NET WebAssembly engine instead of trying to imitate C# with regular expressions.
The engine runs in the browser. Its larger runtime is downloaded only on this page, and source code is not uploaded.

Questions people actually ask
- Is this a real C# parser?
- Yes. The tool uses a CSharpier-compatible Roslyn engine, not regular expressions or a generic indentation algorithm.
- Is the source code uploaded?
- No. Parsing and formatting run in the browser. The language engine is loaded on demand and the source stays on the device.
- Can formatting change program behaviour?
- The formatter is designed to preserve the parsed program while normalising line width and indentation. Review a diff before committing, especially when a repository enforces different style rules.
