About this tool
Check whether a selected place currently observes daylight saving time and when its next offset change occurs. The result names both offsets and shows how the local clock changes, rather than presenting an unexplained timestamp.
Rules differ by country and change over time. This lookup uses the time-zone data shipped with your browser and searches forward for the next actual offset transition, so zones without seasonal clock changes are reported as stable instead of being forced into a DST template.
For legal or operational deadlines, confirm future rule changes with the relevant authority because governments can amend them after software time-zone data was released.

Questions people actually ask
- Do all countries use daylight saving time?
- No. Many keep one offset all year, and some use seasonal changes only in certain regions. The selected IANA zone, not just the country name, is therefore what matters.
- How far ahead is the next change searched?
- The tool scans future offsets and narrows the first detected transition to the minute. If no transition appears in the search window, it reports that no upcoming change was found.
