About this tool
Enter a local date and time in one zone and see the corresponding moment in another. The result includes the weekday and UTC offset, which prevents the two most common mistakes: converting the hour but missing that the date changed, or applying today's offset to a date in another season.
Named time zones carry their daylight-saving history and future rules. A fixed label such as UTC+1 cannot tell whether a July meeting in Warsaw is UTC+2, while Europe/Warsaw can. Ambiguous autumn times are identified, and spring times that never occur are rejected instead of silently shifted.
Conversion runs entirely in your browser using its internationalisation data.

Questions people actually ask
- Does the converter account for daylight saving time?
- Yes. It resolves the selected date against named time zones, so the correct seasonal offset is used for that date rather than the offset in effect today.
- What is an ambiguous local time?
- When clocks move back, one block of local times occurs twice. The converter warns about that overlap because the same clock reading can represent two different moments.
